Flight Chair – MFC-7 Flying Sheep

The MFC-7 Flight Chair is the first office chair developed especially for flight.

The Flying Sheep is covered with real lambskin and imitation leather.

Selection:
Unbraked: Standard – for use without flight pedals.
Caster and Rotation Brake: The chair can be set in a fixed position for optimal pedal use.
Haptic System: 14 actuators with haptic feedback in the seat and backrest.

Concept

Our goal was to create a chair that combines high quality, ergonomics, seating comfort (especially for long flights), and that works well with different flight control setups.

To facilitate this, the chair also has a central cut-out in the seat, to mount a center joystick in the perfect position.

Design

The most important feature is the specialized form of the backrest.

The wider lower part gives the pilot stability – the narrower upper part ensures unrestricted freedom of movement in the shoulder and elbow area.

With this seat allows full unristricted operation of the joystick and throttle.

Cover

The contact surfaces of the MFC-7 are made of real curly lambskin and therefore nestle softly against the body. In addition, it is breathable, allergy-friendly and comes from New Zealand. The wool height of the dyed natural curl is about 2cm.

Manufacture

A local North German manufacturer makes our chairs. It is a company known for producing high-quality office chairs since 1966. Each chair is made by hand.

The MFC-7 chair is made on order and has a delivery time of approx. 1-5 weeks.

Note: Since the cover is made of 100% real leather and sheepskin, it may occasionally have imperfections.

Joystick / HOTAS chair mounts left / right joystick or throttle are not in the scope of delivery. They are only in the product images to illustrate the complete structure.
